BIOGRAPHY
Inspired by Hip-Hop icons like Chris Brown, Kid Ink and Tyga, Berlin born artist Phil Rick started making music in 2020.
After his first release in July 2021, the independent rapper was able to explore the industry, collect valuable insights and experience almost everything music firsthand, from songwriting and recording, over publishing, all the way to marketing.
In February 2024, his Pop-Rap single Differences scored Rick airplay for the first time.
The artist’s 2024 singles, We Paid, IDKY and TSUNAMI started off a series venturing further into the genres of Rap and Trap.
SO CLOSE - an energetic EP, highly inspired by Yeat - gave listeners a hint of the different facets Phil Rick has in store just before his latest release Six More Hours added yet another genre to his growing discography: R&Bass
On August 2nd, the artist published his first ever full-length music video alongside the summer anthem My City which had listeners dive into a world full of extravagance and glamour, often portrayed in Hip-Hop culture - but rarely lived genuinely.
Today, Rick is traveling, working on his debut album scheduled for release later this year.
