BIOGRAPHY
Inspired by Hip-Hop icons like Chris Brown, Kid Ink and Tyga, Berlin born artist Phil Rick started making music in 2020.
After his first release in July 2021, the independent rapper was able to explore the industry, collect valuable insights and experience almost everything music firsthand, from songwriting and recording, over publishing, all the way to marketing.
In February 2024, his Pop-Rap single Differences scored Rick airplay for the first time.
The artist’s most recent releases, We Paid and IDKY, started off a series of singles venturing further into the genres of Rap and Trap.
His latest single, TSUNAMI, a mix of Hyperpop and Rap, is touching upon the topics of climate change and its consequences with a lightness often wished for but rarely seen by the younger generations that are most conscious about it.
Today, Rick is based in Paris, working on his debut album scheduled for release later this year.
